1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Zentally ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Zentally is an AI-powered personal finance application that helps you track expenses, scan receipts, manage budgets, set savings goals, and gain spending insights. The App is available on iOS and Android platforms.

3. User Accounts

  • You must create an account to use Zentally
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • One person may not maintain more than one account

4. Subscription Plans

4.1 Free Plan

The free plan includes limited features: 10 AI receipt scans per month, 3 AI chat messages per month, 3 budgets, 3 savings goals, 3 months of transaction history, and 100 MB storage.

4.2 Pro Plan

The Pro plan ($6.99/month or $49.99/year) includes unlimited AI scans, unlimited AI chat, daily spending insights, unlimited budgets and goals, full transaction history, tax report exports, and 10 GB storage.

4.3 Family Plan

The Family plan ($9.99/month or $74.99/year) includes everything in Pro plus shared household dashboard, up to 2 household members, 25 GB shared storage, and combined/individual spending views.

4.4 Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • Free trials last 7 days; you will not be charged during the trial period
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can cancel anytime through your App Store or Play Store settings
  • No refunds for partial billing periods

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
  • Use automated means to access the service (bots, scrapers)
  • Abuse AI features by submitting inappropriate or harmful content
  • Resell or redistribute the service without permission

6. AI Features Disclaimer

Zentally uses artificial intelligence for receipt scanning, expense categorization, spending insights, and chat assistance. While we strive for accuracy:

  • AI-generated data may contain errors and should be reviewed
  • Spending insights are informational and not financial advice
  • The AI chat assistant provides general guidance, not professional financial planning
  • You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of scanned receipt data

7. Intellectual Property

Zentally and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your financial data remains your property.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zentally shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the App
  • Any errors in AI-processed data
  • Unauthorized access to your data
  • Any third-party conduct on the service

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of Zentally after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
